Lucy Matthews

Lucy’s love of golf began at the age of 6 at her local rural club in Princes Risborough, England, where she was born and raised. Her talent for the game led to her first golf appointment in 2014 at a local public course, Wycombe Heights Golf Center, as the Assistant Golf Professional. She then progressed to working at the Headquarters at Burhill Golf Club in Surrey.

In 2017, she applied and was accepted into the Women's Golf Program at William Woods University in Missouri, where she was an integral part of the Golf Team, qualifying each year for the National Championship. After graduating in 2020, she was offered the opportunity to join Reunion Golf & Country Club in Madison, Mississippi as the Assistant Golf Professional, where she developed her enthusiasm for teaching and running tournaments. She was then promoted to Head Golf Professional at Reunion Golf & Country Club, conducting all golf clinics, individual instruction, tournaments and golf activities at the facility.

When Lucy is not teaching or playing golf, she enjoys exploring the outdoors, snowboarding, skateboarding, tennis, and soccer. She and her husband Ian, with their dog Nova are looking forward to exploring Tucson and spending time with its people and the Starr Pass community.
